Can we get the credit bureau to run my credit report early to see if it would bring my score up?

Credit bureaus don't "run your report" at certain set dates. They update daily. When one of your creditors reports something, the change happens that day. Credit Karma, on the other hand, updates weekly. The bureau may have updated some new information a few days ago, but if it's not your day for CK to update, you're not going to see the change until they do. Weekly updates is pretty darn good for a free service.
If you are willing to pay a few bucks every month ($14.95) you can get Experian credit monitoring with updates every day if you want them, not to mention it's the more useful FICO score rather than Vantage.
