Are there any companys that report past rental payments as well as current?
I have paid my rent on time since renting 5 years ago. All of rent reporting companies I have found so far do not report past payment history.

rental payments reported to bureaus

There are companies that report past and current rental payments to credit bureaus.  I would love if Credit Karma would share the names of these companies with us.  Look it up online.  There is at least one but it costs $40 to begin and $10/mo, thereafter.

not really.  but there certainly is the opposite.  If you sue your landlord or walk out without paying. not only do you get it on your credit reports but there is are blacklists.  the reason they generally dont report is usually you pay your rent before the fact rather then a month behind. so its not really credit.

Hi laff2u,

Some companies might, but they are very few and far between. It acutally costs money to report to the credit bureaus, so most landlords do not do this. Evictions or missed rent payments can appear on your credit report, however.
