Adding son's name to credit card
If I add my 20 year old son to my credit card, will it lower my credit score? In addition, will it help him raise his credit score. BTW, he is very responsible, so no worries about him misusing the credit card.

Adding him as an authorized user will not affect your credit scores. It would help him as long as the card is in excellent standing with low utilization on the card. It may help him with his "average age of accounts" as well as simply being an open account in good standing and it would give him more available credit which is a good thing. Just because you add him as an authorized user it is NO reason to give him a card. He does not need to actually hold a card for this action to help him.
