Don't apply for a credit card

Helpful to 1 out of 1 people

If you have a score of 732 you shouldn't apply for a credit card you should go to the bank and ask for a short term loan. They will check your credit and see the score of 732 and you shouldn't have any problem. If you get another credit card it will drop your score because it will tell you that you are using to much of your available credit. Hope this helps!

You may still get declined although you have a good score... It seems like they can turn your application down due to unsufficient length of credit. It sounds like you are a student since you have to purchase textbook. Have you considered Citi Forward Student card?

Yes Apply for an AMEX

Go ahead and apply for the credit card. It is unlikely you will be turned down with a score of 732... They may give you a low credit limit, but if you only need $500 that is not a big deal...

CardMatch

You should first check the Approval Odds for that particular card and take a second opinion from a similar feature offered by Credit Cards dot com called CardMatch. If both, Credit Karma and Credit Cards think that you qualify for that Amex, than your actual chances of approval are greater.

If u really need it -

get Cap1 , they approve almost everybody. However it is not a great card though.

If you hate CHASE & DISCOVER because the rejected you 2 years back !! lol....then you should not think of credit cards. You may get love from Capital One though if YOU dont hate them
