When did you last check all three credit reports to make sure all the information on them is correct?

That long ago???

If you would read the articles on this site (see the left side of this page)  and use the financial tools provided here, you will learn what needs to be done to build your own good credit score and how to keep all of your credit reports current and correct.  That is what Credit Karma is all about....helping people learn about credit for their benefit.

Go to www.annualcreditreport.com and pull a copy of your credit report.  Credit Karma uses TransUnion, so you can pull that one if you want.  If the accounts show up there as unpaid, then dispute it with the bureaus and with Ambit.  Provide any documentation that you can (copy of cancelled check, receipt, bank statement) along with 2 forms of ID so you can prove who you are (they won't steal your ID but if you don't send it, they'll blow you off).  They have 30 days to respond.  If they don't cooperate, you can file complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and with the FTC.  Be persistent and best of luck!
