I found that one of the reporting agencies (cant remember which one) askes for information to prove your identity. For example : between 2009 and 2011, the building that you lived in was built in a: 1955 b:1915 c:1972 or d:2000. I lived in a couple of places those years, so there wasn't a right answer. If you answer wrong, they want you to send in written documents to prove your identity i.e. Full social sec. number, mothers maiden name and date of birth. Basically all the info needed to succesfully steal identity if fell in wrong hands. Ohh well.

The system is broken. Or very very corrupt. Take your pick. I have run into a hickup as well. over 7 years ago I filed a Ch.7 BK. and have been debt free ever since. I have paid all my bills on-time and about 13 or 14 months ago I decided it was time to start building my score up again. So I applied for 2 secured CC through Cap. One.I pay all my expenses on the credit cards, then turn around and pay off the balance. It was working! My score jumped like 50 or 60 points in that time. Now, my score drops. First it was like 5 points, then 13 points, and today, 21 points. There is zero explanations as to why this is happening. Nothing has changed in over a year. I continue using my credit cards the way I have. Never late on any bills, have not applied for any cred or loans, and yet, my score continues to plummet. Only one word FRUSTRATING!!!
