CapitalOne has been in my wallet 4 yrs

Never missed a payment, paying tripple the minimum payment due before the due date for 4 years now, carrying half the balance of my credit limit. I just applied and got denied, Credit score 714. Asked for credit limit increase on my current CapitalOne card.....and yep! you guessed it....DENIED!

I was referred by Credit Karma to this website NFL card from BarclaysBank and got approved instanly $4,000 with balance transfers 0% for 15 months if done within 45 days of openning it. AND $0 balance transfer fee. CapitalOne you will be paid off ASAP and no longerin my wallet.

No frills, no foreign transaction fee. Helpful to 7 out of 7 people

Pro: If there's one thing that Cap One is known for is no foreign transaction fees on their credit cards.

Con: Customer service is best when you don't deal with them. My record is getting the card suspended on suspected fraud 3 times in a 2 month period - it's my only no foreign transaction fee card so I had to leaned on it more than I usually do.

Cap One also tends to be generous with the credit limits ($18k, my highest) and stingy with the APR (14.9%, my highest.)

I got approved Helpful to 16 out of 16 people

I filed bankruptcy in 2011 due to job loss, we also had to foreclose on our home but we have been working hard to establish credit and improve our credit score. So far I had only been able to get department store credit cards cards, Target, Kohls, Walmart - ni VISA, MasterCard, etc logo. Today I applied and got approved for this card with a nice credit limit (I used to have Capital One and they were included in my Bankruptcy by the way). I am pretty excited.

Thanks Capital One!

Helpful to 9 out of 11 people

Approved for 3k with 0 till mar 16 and 14% afterwards. gotta say pretty decent. score~700 and CK gave poor odds. Also Ck said i had a very good chance with discover it. I was a discover more holder for 3 years, paid about 1/3rd in interest and never missed a payment. The more has no balance now but they denied me the "it". Dont know what to think of Ck recommendations. I suggest to check the cap one's pre-screen website as someone else also posted.

Just approved for Platinum card Helpful to 15 out of 16 people

I was just approved for the Capitol Obe Platinum card with a 5k CL and no interest until 3/16. After that my interest will be 10.9%. My FICO score is 756 (Walmart). This will now be my default card for purchases. I wish I got rewards however.... I guess you can't have it all.
