Overview of Updates

Here at Credit Karma, we are constantly evolving our services and always striving to improve your member experience.  As part of this commitment, we recently updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to reflect changes we have made to our business, and to provide greater transparency around the ways we collect and use your personal information.  Here’s a quick overview of the updates we’ve made:

  • Credit Karma is now part of the Intuit family of companies.  We have updated our Terms of Service to reflect this, which you can view here.
  • At Credit Karma, we believe it’s critical that we apply a clear and consistent framework for protecting your data that addresses and adheres to our worldwide obligations. For this reason, and because Intuit shares our strong commitment to user privacy, we have consolidated our various privacy policies and requirements into a single global privacy policy with Intuit.  Our Global Privacy Statement can be found here.  You can further review Intuit’s commitments to user privacy by visiting this page
  • Transparency —
    • We have clarified the circumstances in which we might share your personal information, including with Intuit. What hasn’t changed is Credit Karma’s commitment to never share your personal information with unaffiliated third parties (except as required by law, or with agents acting on our behalf) without your consent.
    • We have described our use of artificial intelligence (AI) to provide you with valuable personalized advice, recommendations and experiences.
    • We have clarified that, in accordance with European law, we will no longer rely on the EU-US Privacy Shield framework to transfer European or UK personal information outside of the EU or UK.
