Total Credit Accounts
I have a total of 13 credit accounts of which I closed 8 so that I can better protect myself from fraud. At least 3 of these accounts are closed since I have paid off House and car loans. The other 5 accounts I have closed since Visa, mastercard and American express have higher limits and I receive points or miles on airlines. I received a grade of C for being proactive and responsible in protecting my credit and the agencies have penalized me for this action. This category needs some serious retuning for the conscientious consumer such as myself.
