Need guidance after 3 years of credit repair
Good question? Vote for this

After 3 years working to repair my credit with a local Puertorrican credit repair company, I just apply for a credit card and it was denied. All negatives account are paid off in full long time ago and are dated 2006 or later. Although I already pay for the service; should I contact a web based credit repair agency? It is true that I had improve the score to 626 based on CK update, but for some reason local company is not able to clear all accounts, and finally close my case. Using a CK simulation feature, it looks that adding a credit card will increase my score. Should I consider a secure card instead? Is a web based credit repair recommended?
A

I do not think at this point  a credit repair agency is necessary.  You are on the right path.  Do not try to make a leap before you know how to walk.  A secured card would be great to establish credit and demonstrate your ability to utilize credit effectively.  Getting 2 would be great.  Then just wait.

When you mention that at this point a credit repair agency is not necessary; it is because teh aging of the accounts? AC

You have a 626 CK score.  Try for a Orchard bank unsecured credit card and settle for the secured card at Orchard Bank if needed.  Great card company to build your credit even more.  Good Luck.

Thanks for your reply scamps218. I never thought about 2, but I realized it now.   Nondog. Thanks, Orchard was my 1st option, but unfortunately it does not apply in PR.
