i am a cosigner but it does appear like that.
i cosigned for my sister and she is having trouble paying what can i do? auto loan.

theres nothing you can do thats the responsibility of a cosigner if you didnt want to be stuck with the debt or the bad credit from the debt you shouldn't have cosigned.
best you can do is get the car sold and get your name off of it. been there...done that

Have her sell the **** car and pay off the difference, you are a co-buyer, that is the proper term. You could always put some rims on it, get insurance for it for mexico than go to TJ for an hour, problem solved, no more car.

you have two options 1 take the car and make the payments yourself or take the car and sell it and pay the difference 2 help her to make the payments and have her pay you back after the car is bad off get everything in writing sorry either way your going to be out some money.
