I am 28, and my credit is in the mid 500's and I owe almost 20k in debt. I was very stupid with credit cards in my early college years and they've compounded until I couldn't afford to pay them anymore. Many complicated issues arose during my years at school and I was never able to finish. Now that I have changed, I want to go to pharmacy school. I am paying out of pocket for all of my pre-requisite classes, but I'm afraid that I will not be able to get loans for school because of my poor credit history. I can only afford to pay about 300 per month on the large balance I owe, which I've been doing for the past 4-5 months. Is there hope for me to get the loans I need for pharmacy school? Thanks so much in advance.
