I rented an apartment for 5 years. I gave only a 15 day notice that I was going to move, paid for that 15 days of rent and they still kept my whole deposit which the manager said was in excellent condition after 5 years, and now I have $150 claim with a collection company stating that I owe them money when in fact they owe me money.
