my score has decrease 1 point since may 2009. Why would that happen as I have continued to make pmts on time no lates whatsoever

Are your credit card balances below 40% of the limits? If so your score would be rising. If the balances have been high that's why your score is not moving.

There are 200 factors that are plugged in to calculate your score so it is tough to say. Scores fluctuate. It sounds like a slight change in your utilizatoin percentage might be the influence.
