Pay the higher interest rates first and ALWAYS. Your score will go up as you pay cards off regardless. Don't pay more than you have to.

I haven't really seen where number of accounts matter that much. If it's really scored then it's a very small part of the score. Inquiries drop off after 2 years.

Your income doesn't affect your credit score (it's not even on the report). As such, the percentage of available credit relative to your income doesn't affect your credit score. Lenders use DTI but you have to give them your income for them to calculate that value.

This isn't much of an offer. All insurers give free quotes....what makes this one special??
For the record, the best insurers are:
1. USAA - For military.
2. Amica
Those two are top notch. The rest are far behind.

I have a Chase card that used to be a WAMU card. I don't know what the rate changed to if it changed at all (I carry a 0 balance on the card) but my credit limit hasn't changed at all. I think they only drop your limit if they deem you a credit risk which I'm sure is done by some computer and not on a case-by-case basis. I've only had problems with American Express raising my rates.

Excellent customer service so far. I have a bunch of CDs and Savings accounts with them. Their rates have dropped almost every week but still higher than most other banks that offer no fee, no min. balance savings accounts/CDs.

I'll give it thumbs up as a lender, however I tried to borrow money through them and got denied. Credit score over 760 but apparently my DTI is too high. The restrictions on borrowing are very tight but I guess for good reason.
