After receiving 3 pre-approved offers in the mail, I finally decided to apply online in order to do a 0% balance transfer. I got the "further processing required" message and figured that would end up in a denial. I called twice over the next few days and spoke to some offshore CS rep who gave me the generic "7-10 days" speech. I was shocked when I got an email 5 days later saying it was approved with a $4300 limit. They pulled Experian, which is my lowest score (656). I was worried after reading the comments on here since I had just purchased a car a few days before so I had quite a few inquiries and some pretty spotty history, although it's been clean for the last 3-4 years.

I was approved with a 684 CK score. I applied online and at first it said that they needed to do more processing and I would hear something in 7-10 business days, but I called and spoke to the underwriting dept. I had received 2 pre-approved offers within a few weeks of applying and told her so. She asked me a couple of questions, then approved a $6,000 limit. Oddly enough, the soft inquiry they did before sending the pre-approved offers was Trans Union, but the hard pull they did was only Equifax.
