Slightly higher interest rate than my current card, but higher annual fee. If you really want to rebuild your credit, I have a suggestion to try. I got a secured Capital One credit card last year. You won't get any credit limit increases, but in the year I've had it, I've been able to get approved for a couple of other credit cards and an auto loan with a decent interest rate. You're starting credit limit is only $200, so you can't screw yourself with it but you can't increase your limit unless you pay more on the security deposit. The deposit is refunded once you cancel the card and pay the balance in full.
