Just wanted to add, that when I called and asked if they were able to give me a CLI, they went ahead, without my permission, and against when I flat out told them if it were to be a Hard Inquiry, that I didn't want them to check. Two days later, a hard pull on EQ popped up.
This company is UNRELIABLE....BEWARE!

Take it from someone with experience, if you need a sub-prime card, use Crapital One, they have low fees, better customer service, and while they don't just hand out CLI's, you have a far better chance. I got this as a rebuilder, I've rebuilt, this card going into the sh*tcan on the real quick...

you could have gotten a higher limit card with a score of 656...don't settle for any more low limit cards...join a credit union, with that score you could easily get a $2000+ limit.

Because most drug dealers don't accept plastic, YET. Now with these new smart phone credit swiping capabilities, who knows.

I've had a Cap1 secured card and had on-time payments for the whole 6 months since I recieved the card. Does anyone know if I can call Cap1 and be sort of upgraded to this card? Or is it a must to apply for it and take the inquiry?

I have both the Capital One Secured and this Orchard Bank Visa, I was approved for the Gold card, apr 14.9%, and I never showed a hard pull on my CK report...has anyone else had this happen?

Just got my card, took almost 3 weeks total, still no hard pull on my CK report. Anyone else get blessed with good luck like this? Does that ever happen? Anyway, good luck.

Just received the card yesterday, and came as advertised. The site said it would be 7-10 days in the mail, and it came in 8 days. Still though, I didn't get a hard pull for applying, and getting this card. I keep updating CreditKarma and I still don't see the inquiry showing up. Has anyone else had this happen? Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining...
And this so concludes my process with Orchard, good luck and I hope this was helpful.

Update: Now after 12 days, when I log on the Orchard Bank and check the status, it says I am approved for $320. I still haven't seen a hard pull show up when I update my CK score. Has anyone else either gotten or not gotten a hard pull when applying for this card?

Update: Now, after about 12 days when I log in to Orchard Bank to check my status it just flat out says, I'm approved and my credit limit is $320, and when I update my score on CK there STILL is no hard pull. Is this because they don't pull from where CK does or did they just not execute one? Has anyone else applied for this card and either gotten or not gotten a hard pull that showed up on Credit Karma score?

CK score 542, Ex 598, Eq 608. I applied, waited about 9 days, checked Orchard Bank's site and it said I am approved pending fund transfer, which is already out of my bank account, so we'll see. They don't immediately tell you the credit limit I guess. I will say that I have a collection account with HSBC that is about 5 years old and I was still approved, which I am shocked at, AND my Credit Karma report shows no hard pull....this just seems too good to be true, lets see what happens. I'll keep you all up to speed with the process.

Got approved for this card back in July, 3 months of on time payments and a few negative accounts being removed boosted my score up from 549 to 608. Just applied for an Orchard Bank Visa Gold and was approved, unsecured. Start here and work up with Cap1, you aren't going to beat the $24 annual fee, among other things about the card that are great.

Forgot to mention, I was approved for the Visa Gold card. The levels go Platinum, Gold, Classic, Secured. Good luck to everyone who decides do apply.

Here is the lowdown on my application process. Because lets face it, everyone who checks these reviews wants to know everyones story so they can assess weather or not they could be approved for the card. First off I'll say that I applied for the VISA version of this card, while this the MC version, the acceptance procedure is the same, the cards are exactly the same in their offers, its just that one is Visa, one is MC.
I have a CK score of 542, Experian 598, Equifax 608. TU is unknown now because when I got my free scores back in June TU was 613, but CK is supposedly pulling TU and I've only had positive effects on my credit since then (1 pull, 1 new account, 3 months perfect payments).
I applied for this card 9 days ago and was checking the Orchard Bank site every day because I was CONVINCED I would be reject, and I was upset that I even initiated the hard pull to apply. The reason I was upset was because I have an account in collections with HSBC, while they aren't the original lender, (I don't know how they got the account, I think it was for an old phone bill, which is due to drop from my report within a year), they show up on my CR. Now for the crazy part.
I check Orchard Bank's site today, it reads, you have been approved, we are in the process of validation your funds! AND I updated my Credit Karma score today and THERE WAS NO HARD PULL! Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but at best I thought they would have come back at me with only a secured card at best. I'm not sure what the credit limit is or how I can find that out...any help with that?

Got my Capital One card exactly when advertised, 7-10 days was no joke. The card is nice, it looks like any Capital One card and says Platinum on it. I like the way they work, you don't have to feel like the loser you are when you use it. Unlike Orchard or all the others. I am in the process of creating my own layout on my card and they will print it and send it to me. Like I said, I don't see why this isn't the more popular choice at a $24 annual fee when Orchard and Premier are raping you just to apply...well, this so concludes my approval experience with Capital One...Good Luck Everyone

i'll keep a track record of my experience with this card, because hopefully it'll be helpful for others...I applied three days ago, had to contact customer service because I didn't attach the image I wanted on my card, they were very helpful, said the acceptance letter would be in the mail 7-10 days and my card in about 14.

Just got approved for Capital One secured card and it is better than this one in many ways. Reports as unsecured to all 3 bureaus. They will offer a higher credit line with good history, ultimately making it an unsecured card. No application fee, $24 annual, which isn't too bad, and you don't have to feel like a tool because it is a reputable card. AND you can design your card with ANY image you want, and you can change it every 30 days if you want...any image you want, pretty cool! Customer service was on point, helped me out promptly, and they take as low as $200 to start off...the interest rate isn't the best at 19.8% but there is a 25 day grace period with no interest.

I just got approved for the Capital One secured card, NO application fee, $24 annual, THATS IT, they report it as unsecured to all 3 bureaus, have a 25 day grace period and the more you send them, the more your limit looks on your report. This card is on CK but it isn't touted as high as other secured cards. Got approved in less than 60 seconds, sent the deposit online through bank account, should have the card in less than 14 days. Oh yeah, AND you can have ANY image you want on your card, AND you can change it every 30 days if you want, they'll just keep sending new ones. Seems too good to be true...but so far its for real.

why would you even apply for this card with a 650?

Is it true that there is no credit check for this card? Has anyone recently tried it? On the application home page it says "no credit check"...just wanted to know cause I'm trying to get a few secured cards to use at once so I have a few accounts showing good history, but would like to have no inquiry...sounds too good to be true

Just had my first experience with Capital One customer service, they were very helpful. This card seems a little too good to be true versus the others in its category. No charge for application, $24 annual (thats onlh $2 per month!), minimum $200 deposit, reports as unsecured to all 3 bureaus, the rate (19.8%) is on the high end but there is a 25 day grace period, so no interest accrues if you pay your balance off in full every month, and it even has an image creator so you can put nearly ANY image on your card, AND you can change the image EVERY 30 days if you want, they'll just send a new card...pretty sweet. IF ANYONE ELSE APPLIED FOR THIS CARD OR AN UNSECURED CAPTIAL ONE, POST YOUR SCORE AND EPERIENCE HERE!

did you get the card yet? how long did you wait?

I researched this card, Orchard Bank, and the Public card...the latter two are pushed heavy by CreditKarma but the Capital One secured card stacks up to these, it may even be better...anyway, to the important stuff, I was weary, didn't know weather to go for unsecured or secured with a 549 credit score so I went with the safe bet and was approved in less than 60 seconds, and I sent in my security deposit today, so we'll see how long it takes. The Orchard Bank has pretty huge fees as well as the Public card when its all said and done the Capital One card is only $24 a year. With a rebuilding card, the finance charge shouldn't play a large role because if you aren't paying it off on time or immediately, you have no business doing it anyway...good luck
