its funny how people that know how to add and subtract love the bank because they dont get fees and get assistance with life changing situations, and its the ones that constantly pay late or OD their account that hate those greedy banks. hahahahhahhahaaaaaaaaaaa HA. financial rape? do you know all the fees associated with maintaining accounts?? fruad, statement, check processing, payment processing, a banker when you need assistance, etc etc etc etc. the list goes on. theres a lot of cost that nobody thinks about...not to mention the main point, its a business. btw, im a web designer, can i please make you free website? i dont want to be greedy and ask for money like its a business or something

It specifically says, everywhere in the terms that if you pay late they reserve the right to raise your rate to the max. sooo, its chases fault you paid it late..... ok. you get a fee when you go below the amount of money you have available in your account. instead of sending you to jail because its illegal to make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase when you knowingly dont have the funds, chase pays it and charges you a fee. sooo, its chases fault you cant keep track of your balance and commit a crime by writing a check or using your debit card without having the funds available.... ok. I hear the same lame story 10 times a day. the only people that pay hundreds in fees per year are the ones that dont know how to balance an account. banks always charged fees. people seem to think banks are a government agency or something because they have to abide by so many federal policies. they are a business like everyother business out there. its not like your taxes are paying for anything. the reason people hate banks so much right now is because of the media and the durbin act. the durbin act was created because walmart was losing billions of dollars to banks every year for thier customers using bank debit cards. because the durbin act was enacted from angry low income people that are mad because they pay fees banks needed to recoup on the huge loss and raise certain fees by a marginal amount. do you hate disneyland? i used to get a ticket for 35.... now its about 85. those greedy business folks at disney should be working for free huh? lets all just work for free for eachother and the world will be a better place.

Am trying to rebuild my credit. Started with a couple annual fee cards, then got a new car loan (wrx...i LOVE it), and finally got approved for the freedom card. The point earning potential is GREAT! Almost the best there is out there. especially when you combine the bonus categories WITH the 10 and 10 for having a checking account with them and the $200-$300 sign up bonus. i think the best use for this card is your everyday purchases. I buy normal items on it and pay it off at the end of the month. I work with creditcards...the freedom card in particular...and confess the rate is far from the best out there. even if you have a score of 850. but if you use it and pay it off everymonth it just like paying yourself back for something you buy already.
