Stay below 30% and pay it off every month. Within 5 months a unsecured would be easy to get from them. I got mines 5 months and the highest credit utilization was 30.30%. Good Luck.

I got this card in September 2011 with a 400$ credit limit. This was the first credit card I ever got. I got this card because I had a limited credit history and was told by the bank I would have to get a Secured card. The highest credit utilization I ever had was 30.30%. Late Februrary 2012, I went into a capital one bank and one of the workers said I should give it a shot applying for a unsecured. I was approved a unsecured card with 750$ credit limit. I'm still going to hold onto this card for a year and from then I'll close it. It's a great card If used wisely.
