H&R Block is a bunch of con artists that try to get you to BORROW your own refund from them at usurious (payday-loan-like) interest rates so that they can eat keep a big chunk of it. Or they put your refund on a crappy "debit card" that charges you a fee basically every time you use it.
Use something FREE to do your taxes--it's not that hard, this is one of them--and KEEP your money!

Very easy to use. Just answer simple questions and it will do all the work for you.
Note: Only the federal filing is free, it will ask you if you would like you to upgrade and file state and local tax returns for a fee.

I used this and found it worked. I was coaxed toward upgrading a couple of times. But you are able to click "no" and proceed with the free return. I had a pretty simple return and everything went through fine. I received my refund within 10 days from the IRS

Taxact is cheaper and does a great job. They all do federal for free. Its state that they get you on.

If it's good enough for our Treasury Secretary Timothy Geitner, it's good enough for the rest of us! If you have a simple tax return, this offer would be useful to you. If your income is below a certain threshold, there are other options available at irs.gov.

I use Turbo Tax every year and highly recommend it (for simple returns). My state also offers free State Returns.
It is a very user friendly website and a conveinent way to get tax returns completed.
