It was my very first credit card that I got approved in 2006 when I was a college freshman. They gave me $2500 credit limit as a student and increased my limit here and there ever since. Now I have $3700 credit limit on it. I'm definitely a big fan of Citi. I now have 4 credit cards with them, and always look to reap up any benefits from promotions they offer from time to time. I love how I don't have to pay any annual fee for any of them and over 5 years I've gotten $1500 cash back from free their rewards program. My current credit score is around 780.

I have been rebuilding my credit after a seperation and subsequent divorce for the last seven years. While married I had a bankruptcy not long before the seperation.
With the exception of an old bankruptcy, I have no negative marks on my credit report. My CK score is 659 with about 15 inquiries (most are more than a year old). For four years I have had an Orchard Bank account (HSBC) for one year I have had paypal buyer credit, and Old Navy Visa (GEMB), and a Best Buy (HSBC) Mastercard. Now if only I could get the Paypal Mastercard and I would be set.
A few days ago I was approved for the Citi Forward Card and the Citi mtvU card. I couldn't decide which card I liked more so after I was approved for the Forward cared, I called customer service and asked if it was ok to apply for the mtvU one as well. They said it was ok, so I did. Both card are with a $4000 limit.
I only gave four stars because I have limited experience with this company and because I have spent more than three hours on the phone with customer service's early fraud department. Because I applied for two cards in one day (the Forward was approved for immediate use) and because I had begun using one and because I added authorized users (the online account access advertised this to me) their system freaked out. It took forever to resolve it and they had to call a merchant I was doing business with to get a transaction to go through. This was odd because I had already had transactions go through before this, and one went through to my phone company which could have helped prove it was me who applied.
If anyone chooses to have more than one card with them like I did, take things slow. I am thinking you can apply to more than one card in the same day, but don't add authorized users if you are approved for immediate use until you receive the initial card. I am a "get er done" kind of person I I tried to do too much at once.

First card to get approved with in college back in 2007. Credit limit was increased every six months up to $5100. The rewards website has special promotions to earn extra points (though I've never used it). The customer service has been good.
