What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, specializing in frontend development with React

Senior Data Scientist 

Credit Karma is looking for a results-oriented and strategically innovative Senior Data Scientist who is passionate about applying machine learning to solve financial challenges for millions of members. In this role, you will drive data-informed decisions and deliver AI-powered recommendations that help our members achieve their financial goals. Data Science plays a ubiquitous role in Credit Karma’s product, serving as the foundation for core machine learning capabilities that drive monetization, personalization, and a value-centric experience for our members. We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive innovation in the development and application of data science techniques that power the most relevant financial products including and actionable recommendations at Credit Karma. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong statistical and machine learning skills with business acumen and cross-functional collaboration.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with colleagues throughout the organization to identify high-impact opportunities to leverage our extensive data to better serve our users
  • Responsible for accelerating revenue and engagement advancement through disruptive and continuous improvements in various data science models (targeting, marketing campaigns, etc.), feature engineering including user profiles and behavior, personalization, etc.
  • Participate research efforts with other team members to explore the frontiers of GenAI, Deep Learning, Recommender systems, and other areas, as they apply to Personal Finance

As a Senior Business Development Manager for Credit Karma, you will take ownership of important relationships in Credit Karma’s largest vertical. Join our Legal, Compliance, and Policy team at Intuit as we work to power prosperity around the world. You will report to Credit Karma’s legal team leader and collaborate closely with members across Intuit, playing a crucial role in developing features that provide faster access to money for our 140+ million members.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll get to help us to develop new features that give customers faster access to money.
  • You will assess legal risks and provide practical, velocity-driven guidance to stakeholders.
  • You will advise on new product features in a dynamic regulatory environment

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory issues in the lending and money movement space and communicate these to executives
  • Ability to handle complex commercial contracts and manage relationships with bank partners
  • Ability to offer actionable and practical advice to facilitate new initiatives and product features
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in law firms, governmental agencies, or in-house legal departments
  • Background in product launches and advising on legal and regulatory aspects of product development in financial services or fintech
  • Experience with consumer lending products and consumer protection laws (UDAAP, FCRA, ECOA, TILA, SCRA/MLA, etc.)
  • Experience advising on servicing and collection requirements for consumer lending products (FDCPA, Regulation F)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Intellectual creativity and a problem-solving approach involving smart legal risks
  • JD from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state Bar
