It takes time for balances to update. It can take a month or a little longer. The lender will only report your balances once per month and that is if they are on the ball. Just be patient and hopefully the next time Credit Karma updates (every 7 days) you will see the change. It doesn't really matter if it takes longer to update here on Credit Karma, because Credit Karma is not a credit bureaus and no lenders will pull data from here.

Credit Karma is the middle man between you and the credit bureaus. They are only the messenger relaying what the bureaus have on file. The bureaus do not provide an up to the minute account balance like your bank account does.
Check your last closing date on your credit card, add a couple days for the bureaus to update, then take into account when Credit Karma updates next after that. This will give you an idea when you will finally see a change in your balance.
