Would a medical bill going to collections cause your credit score to drop 200 points?
My credit score has dropped 200 points since January. I have $1400 in medical bills that went to collections in February because I lost my job and could not afford the payments. I just tried to apply for a personal loan and was denied because my score was too low. I went from the mid 700s to the mid 500s.
