will small debt hurt my credit score?
In 2012, I own a small amount to a credit card < 100, and forgot to pay for three months. Now I am trying to apply a mortgage. How much will this hurt my credit score? Is there a way to remove the bad report? Thanks.

is it paid off now? did it go to collections? some of the newer scoring models ie fico 8 ignore collections under 100$, and vantage 3.0 also ignore under 350$. so the asnwer is, it depends.

Did it go to collections? If so it will be on your credit for 7 years.
