Will having a permanent foundation for a manufactured home drop my interest rate & house insurance?
2013, 1200 sqft., 1st time home owner, currently on pillar supports.

I believe the laws on this vary by state. In some states a mobile home on a permanent foundation can be considered for a home mortgage, with property taxes. In other states mobile home fees are paid through the department of motor vehicles. Check with a couple mortgage lenders, and check with your local motor vehicle licensing division. You should be able to find out some information on line.
