Will buying a CD & quickly selling it improve my credit score?
I heard that buying a CD and selling it right away or borrowing against it would quickly increase my credit score. Is this true?

More likely to Hurt your Credit Score then help.

Now days it seems banks will do a Hard Inquire on you when opening up savings/checking accounts,   this would include CD accounts.

Other wise the CD has nothing todo with your Credit Score.

CDs have nothing to do with your credit report or credit score.  A CD is not credit, it is an investment tool.
