will a 701 credit score be good enough for a mortgage?
I have a mortgage presently but i am renting the house.the wife and I want to buy a house.will i be approved for a mortgage?

The "Gold Standard" for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is 740 or higher.  You shouldn't have an issue with a 701 credit score, but you may face additional fees from Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac due to the score being below 740.  With an FHA loan you shouldn't see any additional fees.  Hope that helps.
