Why would the website tell me I have a thin credit file, when I know that, that is not the case?
Can I fix this some how by updating information?

Hi hopetini,

The credit bureau that calculates your score determines whether or not you have a "thin" file, not Credit Karma. If you have open and active credit accounts, I suggest contacting your creditors directly to see which bureaus they send monthly updates to. Not all creditors send your account information to all 3 credit bureaus, so you can have a "thin" file with one bureau, and scores with the other 2.
