Same question!!

I have the same question! My credit score went down by 5 points and Credit Karma said it was because of a "creditor name change"? Apparently Capitol One changed from "CAP1" to "Capitol One"....

If that really did drop my score, that's a load of crap!

It really doesn't, even though Credit Karma will make a deal out of it and like it was some type of big change to your credit reports.
