why is this still showing open when i filrd on it a year ago?

It would help if you were more specific in your question, since we do not have access to your information.  But a generic answer could be made here in that you apparently had this account last year at least.  Any credit account you have will shoiw on your credit report for at least 7 years past the "date of last activity) which is usually a payment date.  It is part of your credit history.

If your question means that you filed a bankruptcy last year and this account was included in the bankruptcy, it is still part of your credit history and will be on your credit report.  Bankruptcy does not erase your credit history.
