why is my credit score lower than it was with no changes or additions?
my score dropped 7pts over what is has been for the last 12 months, with no changes or additions or late pays or anything. what is going on?

Regardless of what actions you do or don't take, your credit report is always changing, because so many things are affected by dates.  Age of accounts, age of late payments, closed accounts falling off your report, just to name a few.  Please remember that the scores you see here are only for your education, they aren't very accurate and they don't reflect your true FICO score.  Sorry I can't be of more help, but to truly answer your question I would have to see your complete credit reports for the last few months.
