Likely because of the usual 'your check crossed in the mail with the statement' routine. It takes about 6 weeks to fully reconcile all of the aco****s. Your lender may not even report paid in full accounts until after the internal audit is completed and the loan marked as paid. Sometimes that takes well over 30 days.

If you're really concerned, please call your lender and discuss. It's likely a timing/administrative issue as the PP mentioned.
