why has my credit score dropped
i pay all bills off prior to due dates. nothing has changed on my end

It's hard to say with out a lot more inf

Could be you pay your bills to soon,  paying before the statement date on credit cards is like not using them at all.  Closing or not using credit accounts also has a negative effect. 

Credit card co's in particular want to see you use your credit, increases the chances they'll make money. It also shows them that you know how to manage your credit. 

Also remember. It's just a number. If you are not planning on borrowing money or financing something then it makes little difference to your day to day life. You need to learn how to manage you score and control it so it's not the other way around.
