your score goes down based on what you are doing on your credit file or what you are not doing example if your not keeping up with your accnts that are reported on your account then thats part of what can affect your score, also having creditors or any company run your credit check that is also another factor that can lower your score, everything you do depends on how it's affecting your score it can go up or down if you have good financial habits as far as maintaining your credit file. factors like being on time with payments making full payments and utilizing a small amount of credit on any revolving accounts such as credit cards then you should be able to gain a good score.
