Why does it takes so much time to get my scores fixed after collections have been removed?
Had a debt with DFFAS that had been paid with tax season 3 yrs ago and still shows in report of credit...

Not really sure what you asking here, in one sentence you mention collection has been removed, and the next, you said a debt has been paid but still remain on credit report... If the two are the same? Then paid collection isn't supposed to be removed just because it's paid, paid or not, has same reportable length of 7 1/2 years from the Date Of First Delinquency... If the two are separate entires then you need to clarifies what you are asking.
