It did take 45 days or you were told it takes 45 days? It depends on when your lender reports to the credit bureaus and what date you made the payment as to how long it takes. Most lenders report to the credit bureaus once per month. In most cases it shouldn't take longer than a month to update, but can take longer in some situations.

Because most the creditors only report your activities to credit bureaus once a month, credit bureaus "could" take another couple days to update its record and CK only pull your report once a week. So yes it's possible it would take 45 days before you see the changes here but unlikely be a frequent occurrences.
