Why does Credit Karma promote bait and switch lenders?
I looked in the recommendation section and seen a offer for a 8.99% for 72 months interest rate and a savings of $111 per month to refinance my auto loan. A few days late Open Road Financing called me back and offered me 11.9% for 60 months raising my note $50. Had the offer on Credit Karma said that I never would have applied and my credit would have gotten another hard inquiry added to it because I know that brings harm to your credit worthiness. Open Road said if they went 72 months like they state on the Credit Karma offer that they would have to get 13.9% instead of the 8.99% that was advertised. So Again, why do you promote bait and switch lenders that do not intend on honoring their offers when you are supposed to be helping us monitor and make good decisions?
