Why does a bank inquiry shows a much lower score that Credit Karma?
A bank shows 717 (pulled 12.23.2015) while Credit Karma shows 792/784 (pulled 01.10.2016).

What score method

Credit Karma is now showing Vantage 3.0 scores. Most lenders use FICO scores (90% I hear).

My Vantage 3.0 is 25 points higher than FICO (764/739). My FICO score doesn't swing up and down as much as Vantage 3.0.

bank inquiry

Be sure the 717 score the bank is refering to is not your FICO score. Most banks will use your FICO score. This is typically never the same as the credit bureau score nor what credit Karma is showing.
