729 is on the high end of a good score.   This website utilizes a Vantage scoring system which is consistently higher than the credit reporting agencies. This website is free because of advertisers. The cards recommended here are often not in the best interest of a person.

Please read the articles here for further education. Depending on your interest of earning points or cash rewards, go to the individual lenders websites such as Chase, American Express, Bank of America etc. I believe all the sites offer a pre-qualification area which results in a soft inquiry. You might also try applying for a credit card at your banking institution where you have an ongoing relationship.
