Why did my credit score go down when I disputed an account?
I just want to know because I was finally up in the 600's

The dispute should not have had a negative impact on your score.   Was the score change with one of the credit card companies who provide you with a score or with CK.   Was the dispute valid and the item disappeared?  if so you should have seen positive changes.   If the dispute was declined and the date changed or someone read the wrong date it could cause them to think it wsa a current collection as opposed to an older one.   I'd look further into your report.   Many times, as your credit report is updated with current information, another creditor sees the change and posts the information they have been holding to try to collect.
