why did home depot close my credit card?
i owed home depot no money 0 balance and i had a 2k limit on it. all my credit cards are being paid off and my credit scores starting to rise up and then they close it making it drop.

You will have to ask them, they should've sent you a letter explaining why the account was being closed. Sometimes lenders will close an account due to inactivity, ex. you haven't used the card in a year or two.

If you don't use the card every 6 months or at least yearly - many retailers will close your account as a security measure.
