Why aren't utilities such as internet,DirectV . and cell phne service not covered as credit reports
They are bill in a persons name that affect you score if you don't pay. Most people have these services for years and pay ontime !

Because they are not credit.

Actually they are credit, but in a service way instead of a monetary way. They extend a service (which really is money) and then the consumer pays later for it. There has been talk of factoring utilitiy bills into a person's credit profile, however I believe that it will only be done for people with thin or no credit. I am sure that you can find more about it by googling "utility payments to be factored in on credit"
