Typical bills like the electric bill, water bill, cable, phones, auto insurance, etc. have nothing to do with your credit report, unless of course you don't pay, then they will report you. You have to be extended credit by a lender that reports to the credit bureaus in order to build credit. If you currently do not have any extensions of credit, you may want to consider getting a secured credit card or loan that reports to all the bureaus to get your score growing.
