why are creditor still sending me letters for charged off credit card accounts
if i have credit card accounts that are charged off why am i getting request for payment from collection.

You haven't paid them??

Charged off accounts mean the accounts are considered bad debts because they haven't been paid to date.  They will likely be a "bad debt" deduction on the creditor's taxes. The only thing that would eliminate them is their being paid off or the passage of the required reporting time.

You utilized this credit card to purchase items/services so you should be paying it off.  The charge-off is a negative remark on your credit report and it will hurt your credit score.
