Why am I penalized for having my home and car paid off?
Back in 2006 my husband and I paid off our house and car. But now we have poor credit because we don't have old, re-occurring payments. Which should be a good thing in my opinion. We've made an effort to become debt free but now we have no revolving credit. I don't want to get a mortgage just to improve my credit. Is there anything I can do?
