Why am I not receiving any e-mail balance alerts?
I'm getting e-mails from Credit Karma lately, reminding me to update my score on the website. Thinking about why I haven't been there much recently, I realized it's because I haven't been receiving the e-mail balance alerts I had been expecting. These were, actually, the most important reason that led me to join last May.

Among other email communications items, I had enabled monitoring levels for:
Credit Monitoring ("notify me of changes in my credit report").
Bill Payments over $0.
Large Purchases over $500.

But I've never received even a single monitoring alert, despite many charges and payments. Balances reported to credit bureaus are usually zero (i.e., paid off before the end of the billing cycle), but with these large (for me) reported balances, roughly monthly on one card or other, to keep my cards show ongoing activity:
Card A: $2163 on 6/16, $1640 on 10/16.
Card B: $2545 on 7/24, $2372 on 9/24.
Card C: $1481 on 9/2, $1332 on 12/2.
Card D: $1246 on 5/10, $2028 on 11/9.

Can anyone explain why I'm not getting the expected email alerts for these changes? Some of these reported balances are even in (nearly) a single charge, well over my $500 "large purchase" setting. Thanks.
