I don't carry a balance and therefore don't pay interest. Yet Credit Karma believes that I could save thousands by moving to a credit card with a lower APR. Why?

The advertisers here pay for the Internet time and maintainence of this site so we can use it for free.  If they get additional customers for their business from this site, they can make more money to cover the advertising expenses.  We just have to use our heads when deciding whether or not to respond to the ads.
