Where to start when raising your credit score?
My credit score was starting to improve and due to financial difficulty it is now lower again. Where should a person start when wanting to improve there credit score and they have quite a few "collections as they were not able to make those bills at the time.

The number one best way to obtain a good credit score is by paying your bills on time every month, keep your debt to income ratio low, and do not allow any payments to fall into collections. Paying off any outstanding collections and making your paymnts on time will increase your credit score over time but unfortunately there is no magic wand that can be waved and make your credit good quickly. Building good credit takes time and work but can be acheived if you put the effort in to make it happen.
